The pavilions by Rexton are made to order according to the requirements of the customer. The construction and the materials according to our standard specification are possible to modify or change. In order to simplify the decision process of design, pricing and manufacturing, we use a standard construction and a standard specification as a starting point. In addition, we have certain options for design and materials.
Standard specifications for materials
Roof (from inside) Timber boards 15 mm, grooved and tongued Wooden rafters minimum 120 mm Insulation with minimum 100 mm mineral fibres Board 4 mm and 15 mm ventilated air space. Timber boards 22 mm, grooved and tongued. Underlay foil with bituminous felt Shingles of Tegola Tiles. Colour choices: black, brick red or grey Metal work in polyester enamelled steel
Wall (from inside) Timber boards 15 mm, grooved and tongued. Frame work timber 45 x 95 mm Insulation 95 mm mineral fibres Foil of bituminous felt Timber boards 22 mm grooved and tongued. Outer timber boards at bottom of wall are made of solid oak.
Floor (from inside) Parquet 14 mm with 3-4 mm oak layer Chip board 20 mm Timber beams 120 mm plus 45 mm Insulation 160 mm mineral fibres Board 4 mm
Foundation The floor construction is a "free bearing construction". The floor beams stands on concrete blocks or stones with a distance of approximately 10 cm to the ground (a 10m x 2 floor needs approximately 9 blocks or stones) or on a concrete slab.
Windows All windows have a wooden frame. Double glazing with 4 mm glass and 16 mm argon. The inner glass has an energy saving coating ( Low Emission coating) All glass is toughened safety glass The glass is fitted with double seals of synthetic rubber. All fittings in brass.
Doors Doors are made in timber and individually made by hand. The threshold is made of oak. All glass is of same quality and specification as for windows. All fittings in brass
Rain water drainage Gutter and down pipes are made hard PVC. Colours choice. white, grey, brown or black.
Electricity The building is prewired for power, light, switch and heat.
Painting All wooden parts are coated with impregnation and wood-preserving oil as primer. The paint is applied in 3-4 coatings with oil based paint specially suited for timber. Colour tone at the choice of the customer.
Options and variations of materials
Roof covering Options include :- Copper The copper is shiny and gold coloured in the beginning. After approximately half a year the copper turns more brown and matt.
Titan zinc The zinc is silver shiny in the beginning but turns matt after half a year.
Lead
Ceramic tiles The tiles are flat. Colours options are black, grey, dark red, green and blue. The tiles are available glazed or matt.
Oak boards The solid boards are 22 mm thick and 120 mm wide with same length as the sloping of the roof.
Natural or synthetic slate.
Shingle of oak or cedar.
Floor Options include:- Carpet The floor is prepared for wall-to-wall carpet on chip board. The carpet is delivered and installed by other supplier.
Solid parquet floor Solid parquet in oak, teak, mahogany or other types of hard wood.
Solid oak boards Solid oak boards. Thickness 20 mm width 90-120 mm, tongue and grooved.
Solid pine boards Solid boards in pine. Thickness approx 20 mm and width 120 - 140 mm, tongue and grooved.
Interior wall cladding
Options include Gypsum boards The timber panel on the inside of the wall is substituted by a double layer of boards: An inner OSB board and an outer gypsum board. The gypsum board is painted with mat water based paint. Colour tone at the choice of the customer.
Exterior wall cladding Options include:- Oak boards The exterior timber panels as well as the wooden decorations are all made of massive Oak. The oak can be left untreated, varnished or coated with oil. Oak boards are standard for our "Modern" model
African or Asian hard wood The timber panels as well as the wooden decorations are all made of African or Asian hardwood. The wood will be painted.
Windows and doors Options include:- Massive oak All windows and doors are made of massive oak. The oak can be left untreated, varnished or coated with oil. Oak is standard for our Modern office
